I had a chance to take my new camera out (Pentax K20D) and take some pictures of my family and my beautiful wife. I am having fun taking pictures with this new camera and there is so much to learn about it. My wife sure makes a nice subject to take pictures of.
I have always wanted to take a picture of the Salt Lake temple at night. After leaving the hospital one night I was able to take a couple of pictures of it. Unfortunately I didn’t have my tripod with me so I did the best with what I could do.
Took this picture without a tripod. ISO 400 1/8 second f/4.0. Plus it was about 20 degrees outside so I was shaking on top of trying to hold my camera as still as possible. Next time I will be using a tripod.
Driving through Georgetown Idaho I noticed the low hanging clouds and snapped this picture. I applied a Lightroom preset that actually made the photo look pretty good.
This is a picture that my 11 year old daughter took the other day. It turned out excellent and this is one that I will make sure that she enters into some contests.
Nothing like watching 8 and 9 years old playing flag football on cold October night. My son is in purple and is the one of the far right. These kids are fun to watch.
Woke up last week and notice the golden glow in the east. The sun had just started to come up and it sure did put a nice glow into the sky.
